Each skill comes with installation instructions. Most skills are a single file you drop into your Hermes Agent's skills directory, then configure your API keys. Most installs take under 5 minutes.
Yes. All HermesCentral skills are built for the Hermes Agent platform. You'll need a working Hermes Agent installation before installing any of our skills.
Hermes Agent runs on macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Linux. All skills are platform-agnostic — if Hermes runs, the skills run.
All currently available skills are free. Install them, use them, keep them. As we build more advanced skills and integrations, some may have a price — but core operational skills will always be free.
No. Hermes Agent has native memory with up to 1M token context. Our skills work directly with the built-in memory system — no retrieval plugins, no vector databases, no external dependencies.
"Available" skills are ready to install right now — they're tested and running in production at SmartHomes. "Coming Soon" skills are in active development and will be published as soon as they're production-ready.
First, check that your API keys and configuration are correct — most issues are config-related. If you're still stuck, reach out and describe what you expected to happen vs. what actually happened. Include any error messages.

No. All skills are designed to work alongside each other. They use separate configuration files and don't compete for resources. You can run as many skills as you need simultaneously.
